IIC-KITCOEK
The Institute's Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, through its Innovation Cell, with the aim of fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within educational institutions. Its primary goal is to create an environment that encourages students and faculty members to think creatively, explore new ideas, and engage in entrepreneurial ventures. By promoting innovation and integrating it into the academic framework, IIC aims to build a dynamic ecosystem that nurtures new ideas and technologies.
One of the core objectives of the IIC is to actively promote innovation by organizing a variety of activities such as idea-generation sessions, hackathons, and innovation competitions. These events provide students and faculty with platforms to express their creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and work on real-world challenges. Additionally, the IIC seeks to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem within educational institutions by encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and offering access to startup incubation support, industry collaborations, and entrepreneurship training programs.
